Mentored Research Committee

The Mentored Research Committee (MRC) has been in operation at MMC for over 40 years.  This committee places a high priority on trainee (e.g., residents, fellows) research and on original investigations into new areas.  Its goal is to provide “seed” support for projects with high potential to result in publication or presentation of results at a regional or national meeting.  MRC recipients are paired with a mentor, an experienced practitioner who takes a special interest in helping to develop the recipient into a successful research professional.
