Jan Trott is responsible for the oversight of the Interna­tional Office and ensuring compliance with U.S. gov­ernment immigration regulations. Other responsibilities include overseeing and implementing initiatives that will strengthen our exchange program in order to provide a program that best serves our visiting scholars and the institute.

Gloria began working with international exchange visitors in 2001 as liaison between the exchange visitors working at MMCRI and the International Office of the University of Southern Maine. In 2003, Maine Medical Center was granted its own sponsorship program and she now assists exchange visitors on immigration issues, handles all SEVIS related matters and provides continued support to our exchange visitors as they transition to this new culture.
