Supporting Education and Quality Improvement in Research (SEQuR)
SEQuR is committed to providing on-going support and services to the community of Investigators and their staff at MMC. Its goal is to continually update the Research Community on applicable regulations and policies required to ensure human subject protections and the overall quality of data produced at MMC. The SEQuR staff works with the Research Community to provide the tools and guidance to assist in meeting all applicable requirements.
SEQuR can provide navigation for new investigators through the research or IND/IDE process including study specific services at startup or throughout the course of a study.
These services can include:
- Onsite review
- topic specific in-services
- IRB submission guidance
- external audit preparation
- study consultation
- Orientation to new research coordinators and new physicians sponsoring their own projects.
- Ongoing support and programming for professional development opportunities for research staff.
SEQuR is a resource dedicated to you and your feedback is needed to make this an effective tool. Please send me your suggestions for additional tools or services.
