Dr. Siegel is a clinical investigator with CORE, as well as a practicing child psychiatrist specializing in autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders at Spring Harbor Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine. He received his M.D. from the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Siegel's main interests include the identification of psychiatric co-morbidity and the enhancement of emotional regulation in children and adolescents with autism. His work focuses on better psychopharmacology outcomes in autism and building a research infrastructure that will increase the reliability of psychiatric co-morbidity diagnosis and accelerate the pace of clinical trials in autism.
