To give back to my community...
J and her husband N were successful businesspeople in Portland, and understood the value of great healthcare for the community. J was so impressed with the care N received on the cardiac unit at the end of his life that when she was diagnosed with breast cancer she never considered going anywhere else for her treatment. So even though she moved south many years ago, J is happy to be an MMCRI donor. "I have so much to be grateful for," J says, "supporting this valuable research is one way of giving back."
