Lori Haffner holds a Masters degree in Statistics from the University of Southern Maine and continued her graduate education taking PhD level courses at the University of Pittsburgh offered in the Statistics Department and the School of Public Health. Lori plans to obtain a PhD in statistics in the near future. Lori’s research interests include the use of statistical hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and survival analysis, and the application of various complex algorithms to manage and prepare datasets for analysis. Lori has analyzed data from many sources including multi-center national clinical trail data, simulated and educational data, banking and financial services data, survey data, and health care claims data. She has computer programming skills in multiple statistical software tools, including SAS and STATA, and has experience using these software applications in both PC and Linux environments. She has experience teaching mathematics and statistics to university-level students and providing statistical consulting for medical professionals.
