Karen Stowe graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in Sociology, and received a Masters in Counseling from the University of Southern Maine. As Research Coordinator at CORE she is also responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of CORE. She offers administrative support to the Director and other CORE researchers, to ensure that administrative, program, and facilities needs are met. She also coordinates the scheduling and notification of CORE’s weekly Research Meetings and monthly Writers’ Group meetings. Ms. Stowe was awarded a fellowship to the Dartmouth Summer Institute on Informed Patient Choice in 2008.
