Biosketch

Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, completed a Pathology residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. He also received additional training in Gynecologic Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Jones came to Maine Medical Center in 1988 and became the Director of Surgical Pathology and Cytology. He became the Chief of Pathology in 1996. He has published extensively in the areas of gynecologic and urologic pathology with interested in the molecular biology of neoplasia. In addition to his Chief position, Dr. Jones serves as the Medical Director of the NorDx Regional Laboratories in Scarborough, Maine, and the Interim Director of the Maine Medical Center Cancer Program.
